Bio
As a senior manager for FCA Scotland I have drawn on experience from both the public and private sector to lead on the development of services that are flexible and responsive to the needs of those involved. These services have spanned the spectrum of need within both fostering and services for vulnerable children and their families, and I have worked in this sector for the past 15 years.
I combine this experience with qualifications in Business Management and Child Protection coupled with learning from my role as a foster carer. I’m passionate about the difference that foster carers can make in a child’s life and I draw on my experiences to ensure our services are supportive of carers and their families, remain child-focused , and make a positive and lasting difference to the lives of children and young people in Scotland.
